International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on June 21st to raise awareness about the many benefits of practicing yoga.
Established by the United Nations in 2014, this day highlights yoga’s power to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The date was chosen as it marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Each year, people around the world participate in yoga sessions and events to embrace this ancient practice that originated in India and continues to unite people in harmony and health. CGPS wishes you all "Happy International Yoga Day!"
