Officer-In-Charge, Coast Guard Public School, Daman

Commandant (JG) Vinod Kumar Parmar assumed charge as the 39th Officer-In-Charge of Coast Guard Public School, Daman on 28th May 2025. He joined the Indian Coast Guard on 7th July 1997. His journey is marked by commitment and dedication to service.

The Officer is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Naval Academy and graduated from Vaish College, Rohtak in 1994. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Financial Management) from the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Finance Management, Faridabad, Haryana, in 2019.

With an illustrious career spanning over 28 years, Commandant (JG) Vinod Kumar Parmar has held several key appointments, both onshore and offshore, contributing significantly to the operational and strategic capabilities of the Indian Coast Guard.

His notable appointments include Commanding Officer, ICGS C-131, Commanding Officer, ICGS Rajdhwaj and Regional Training and Sports Officer, CGRHQ (NE), Kolkata.
